SMB meeting: Partnering models, Why, when and how?

On November 21, a delegation from Johnson & Johnson Innovation visited Radboud University, Radboudumc and Novio Tech Campus in Nijmegen. We’ve proudly shown them the achievements & possibilities of the Health & High Tech ecosystem in the region. We rounded up the visit with a SMB meeting on partnering.

When it comes to partnering there is no one size fits all solution. Gideon Bevelander from Johnson&Johnson showed the various ways of partnering with Johnson & Johnson Innovation, with flexible deals and no issues on IP strategy. One of the partnering models is the JLABS acceleration model. Click here for more information about JLABS. Tom Aelbrecht from Johnson & Johnson presented all the reasons why, when and how you could consider to apply for JLABS. Furthermore, Tonny Voermans (Biomed Elements) and Koen Dechering (TropIQ) presented startup perspectives on partnering with corporates. We finished off with ample room for networking with drinks & bites from Partyservice Milder Catering.

We look back on an inspiring afternoon and hope to meet you again in the new year! The invite for the next SMB meeting on January 30, 2020 (16:00 @NTC) will follow shortly.
